This role is based out of the office with frequent trips to London, where you will be involved in multiple projects valued from £500k up to £4 million, including commercial and office fit outs for the leading fitout main contractors.

This young company has been established for just over 15 years and is one of the most dynamic contractors specialising in interior sub-contract packages in London and the surrounding counties, with an annual turnover in excess of £25 million. They specialise in ceilings and partitions and have an extensive portfolio of commercial and office works with typical contracts up to £4 million in value.
The company is looking for ambitious young Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a prestigious project in Belgravia, Central London. Reporting to a Commercial Manager on site, your main role will be to assist the commercial function. Duties will include estimating, developing and reviewing target costs, forecast and cash flow analysis. Duties will include assisting in all aspects of the financial control of the project including valuations, measurements and cost reports, attending meetings and ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken. In addition you will also co-ordinate and agree the production of final accounts with various parties in order to ensure that project approvals and completions can be obtained at the required times.
The ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have up to 3 years practical experience and will have gained some experience with a Sub-Contractor and preferably with experience of fitting out commercial properties. Assistant Quantity Surveyors with other construction related experience will also be considered if they show the right drive and determination to succeed within a technically challenging environment.
