As an experienced construction recruiter, James helped to establish a number of contractors desks giving him a sound knowledge and vast experience which he shares with the team, candidates and clients alike.

Working with both temporary contracts and permanent placements, James now primarily focuses on working with specialist sub-contractors including exteriors and interiors within the Built Environment. Bid Analyst

Up to £85,000 plus package

Due to continued growth and desire to improve current performance, we are seeking a strong Bid Analyst to join a busy facades sub-contractor to develop and implement strategic bid management and work winning processes and to grow key accounts and new business throughout the business.

This company is recognised as a leading contractor in the delivery of bespoke high end facades and glass projects. They seek to improve their overall sales and bidding process with someone with a highly detail driven approach to provide an understanding of the pricing, bidding and sales cycle to lead and improve efficiency, cost and overall contract awards and success.

The role will be predominantly based from offices in Central London, with some travel as necessary. You will work closely with the Senior leadership team and the Sales and Bid management team to develop new opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated professional with ambitions to make an impact.

UK Bid Analyst Accountabilities:

  • Develop systems, processes and tools to gather and analyse sales, pricing, tender and bidding related data, including a review of CRM systems and tools.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and scorecards to improve visibility and management reporting of relevant data
  • Deliver pipeline data management and pipeline forecasting, which gives a reliable outlook on future Order Intake and Revenue generation
  • Create and distribute reporting on pipeline hit ratio, profitability and cash trends, which inform sales and tender strategies and provide context to the pipeline forecasting.
  • Identify, gather and develop insight into information and data from current and historical projects, as well as customer and competitor data, that can be utilised both for improving our bidding and pricing strategy, and to influence either the development or marketing of innovation tools
  • Identify, gather and share best practice information, both new and established, to better inform project and bid development, and promote the dissemination of best practice approaches across the global business
  • Coordinate and support a joined up approach to pricing and bidding strategies, processes and management systems
  • Work closely with IT partners and stakeholders across the business to identify, implement and maintain IT systems which support market intelligence and insight, pipeline management and data gathering and analysis


UK Bid Analyst Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing and analysing large quantities of construction data
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing insight, management information and dashboards
  • Excellent data and analysis skills
  • IT Literate and proficient in multiple software packages
  • Excellent systems capability, including advanced excel skills
  • Strong understanding of construction industry
  • Understanding of façade sector a distinct advantage
  • Able to create meaningful insights out of large and complex data sets
  • Able to communicate across the business at all levels.


The salary will be dependant on level of exposure to industry and can go beyond the stated level above for first class individuals. Bonus and additional benefits also make up the package. The group are a recognised performer in industry within the sector in which they operate.
