Technical Coordinator

£45000 - £55000 per annum Benefits package offered

Constructive Moves are recruiting for a Technical Coordinator to join a housing developer with a great brand and reputation for building homes and communities across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the technical team with technical appraisals within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Supporting land acquisitions and planning appeals including technical studies, communication with statutory Authorities, instructing Consultants and obtaining reports.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities with documentation and drawings relevant to the sites.
  • Prepare detailed Design programmes, including the management of the production information to ensure the company meets its business objectives.
  • Assist with Technical and Services budgets.
  • Maintaining a general awareness of current material and construction research and making recommendations or giving warnings as appropriate.
  • Undertaking adequate CPD to maintain Professional Status where appropriate and to be aware of industry changes and developments.


Skills and Experience

  • Engineering Technical experience, either from an Architectural Consultancy, Developer or residential housing contractor
  • Previous experience within the House Building or Construction sector
  • Degree educated in relevant disciplines, such as Architecture, Design, Planning, Civil Engineering or the Built Environment.
  • Experience in dealing with highly complex technical drawings and plans.
  • Building Regulations and NHBC standards knowledge

Quantity Surveyor

£50000.00 - £65000.00 per annum and benefits package

Constructive Moves are working with a residential developer known for building traditional housing and apartment schemes across the UK who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to cover housing developments across Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and North London.

As Quantity Surveyor you will report into the Commercial Manager and will be allocated residential developments at various stages of construction to manage and assist in all financial aspects of the scheme.

In your role you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • valuations
  • measurements
  • cost reports
  • attending meetings
  • ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken.
  • co-ordinate and agree the final accounts with various parties.
  • ensure that project approvals and completions can be obtained at the required times.

This role would suit applicants who have held a surveying role within the residential sector in either a house builder or contractor and are focused on cost control and commercial awareness.

Technical Manager

Constructive Moves are sourcing applicants for a Technical Manager opportunity with a leading residential developer to join their Special Projects team to cover schemes across the London region.

The position will be an integral role with both technical & design management aspects to oversee the remediation works on legacy schemes. The position will offer excellent on-the-job training if no prior experience of fire remediation as well as career progression opportunities within the company moving forwards.

Technical Manager

£70000.00 - £75000.00 per annum

Constructive Moves is working with a national developer to source a Technical Manager to join their highly successful division.

The region is known for their traditionally built housing and apartment schemes across the counties of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Due to a fresh pipeline of sites, there is a requirement for a Technical Manager to join the team. Sites will range in size as well as duration of construction and you will be involved from pre-construction through to full completion of the schemes.

You will be responsible for managing the consultant engineers for all the design related issues and buildability of the project. Ensure all the agreement and certificates are in placed to build the project. Manage the scope of the design and the quality of the build and the information required to meet the timescales of the project to time and budget.

It would be ideal if you have held the role of Technical Manager within a the residential sector or a worked as a consultant engineer or architect who has seen residential schemes through from start to finish.

Site Manager - Externals

£70000.00 - £80000.00 per annum

Constructive Moves are collaborating with a leading residential developer on an existing scheme in Southwest London which consists of medium rise, luxury apartments. They are looking for an Externals Manager to help complete the development.

For this role, you will report to the lead project manager on site, you should have experience of managing a precast cladding and envelope system. You must hold all the certificates, such as SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card to be considered and have a solid career history within the residential sector and ideally London based projects.
