Our client is a leading Interior design and fit-out specialist based in London but working globally on Projects. They offer the complete design, supply and installation of all FF&E and OS&E to commercial, residential and hospitality properties and they are looking to strengthen their project team with a Purchasing Co-ordinator / Package Manager to join a busy Projects Department to manage and deliver the projects and to contribute to the continued successes of the business
Working as part of the team you will be focused on a daily basis with the supply and install of fitted furniture and equipment (FF&E), providing products and services to multiple major construction projects, globally, with a particular focus on The Middle East, with a diverse range inclusive of Healthcare, Education, Hospitality and Airports.
This Purchasing Co-ordinator position requires excellent communication and management skills to co-ordinate input from each department, to maximise the efficiency and add value to the project.
If you can demonstrate drive, commitment and discipline with an eye for detail and ideally with experience of managing fast paced fit-out packages (FF&E) then we would like to hear from you.
You will be fully conversant with the cost and be able to plan activities, managing projects throughout all stages from order realisation and although not exhaustive, covering; programme development and management, design development, product approval and guidance, coordination with other departments to plan production and procurement demands, overseeing and reporting on site installation works to final and successful handover of the project on time and within budget.
The ideal Purchasing Co-Ordinator will have gained some experience working on construction projects with proven experience of running bespoke interior and refurb projects. Ideally you will be HND or Degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline. Preferably you will be computer literate with programming and planning experience, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company's commitments.
Finally, the successful Purchasing Co-ordinator will offer a high level of professionalism at all times in dealing with clients, people and in the presentation of themselves and their work. You will be able to handle demanding people in challenging situations and show the capacity to absorb new knowledge quickly and must be able to motivate teams and drive Projects to successfully deliver the companies commitments and aspirations.

You will be based on site you will play a vital link between the site team, residents, and clients.
The role of Resident Liaison officer is to successfully facilitate communication between the site team, client and the residents, both verbally and in writing, to establish positive relationships. The primary objective is to ensure that all parties are kept informed of the required works, allowing the construction work to be carried out with ease, as well as fielding any queries or complaints from the residents.

Constructive Moves are sourcing applicants for a Technical Manager opportunity with a leading residential developer to join their Special Projects team to cover schemes across the London region.
The position will be an integral role with both technical & design management aspects to oversee the remediation works on legacy schemes. The position will offer excellent on-the-job training if no prior experience of fire remediation as well as career progression opportunities within the company moving forwards.
Ideally your background will need to be in residential construction and technical/design management, especially in external cladding and remediation along with the delivery of new build residential and high-rise apartment schemes.
People management skills are required as there are junior members of the team that will need guidance and mentoring but it is essential for the chosen applicant to manage their own schemes and sites.
