Our client is a worldwide specialist exteriors sub-contractor providing a bespoke service to supply and install a number of commercial products including glazing, cladding and curtain walling products in number of global locations.

They currently seek a UK Sales Director to target and spearhead new business opportunities in the UK. They seek someone with the experience and a network of unparalled contacts, who can leverage those contacts, to firmly establish them in the UK market. You will be working under the Directors with responsibility for the management of all financial, commercial and contractual aspects of projects based in and around London and the rest of the UK. It is essential you have proven business experience with face to face client selling.

Your duties will vary from day to day but will include the management of the entire sales function

  • Identify new opportunities to engage the company in the UK market for business development and managing the ongoing client database with day to day estimating, logging of projects, chasing up and securing work.
  • Develop strategies and business growth plans, creating strong relationships with key clients.
  • Establish new contacts with potential clients, fostering and nurturing commercial relationships that support sustainable business growth
  • Lead the development, expansion, and retention of the client portfolio, ensuring strategic and growth-oriented management.
  • Actively collaborate with clients to understand their needs, building long-lasting and productive relationships that foster loyalty and mutual growth.
  • Identify new business expansion opportunities by exploring strategic partnerships, potential mergers, and entry into emerging markets, based on thorough market and competitor analysis.
  • Work synergistically with other company managers to optimize existing services or develop new ones, in line with client demands and market trends.
  • Supervise and update commercial documentation, prepare detailed reports for the company's management, manage the budget, and provide accurate forecasts of future results


Ideally degree educated with previous interiors experience with either a main or sub contractor on projects up to £25 million, you will be a good team player who must be hands-on, highly motivated and able to work on own initiative and without constant close supervision. Should have a relevant Degree in construction or technical disciplines with significant experience in a similar role, acquired within structured companies in the same or a related business).

Project Manager

£75000 - £80000 per annum

Our client is a leading specialist sub-contractor in the UK offering the complete design, supply and installation of complex packages on large infrastructure projects including metal work and cladding solutions and they are looking to strengthen their Operations team with a Project Manager in London.


With an extensive portfolio of works up to £10 million in value, including a number envelope packages on large prestigious commercial new builds in London they seek a key member of the management team.


This Project Management position requires excellent communication and management skills to co-ordinate input from each department, to maximise the efficiency and add value to the project. You will be fully conversant with the cost and be able to plan activities safely, having direct responsibility for all activities carried out on site and must be able to implement the business management system procedures and provide a professional approach to all aspects of the project.


Reporting to the Project Director your duties will be to take full operational responsibility for the site including making every effort to ensure that works proceed in a safe manner. You will need to be fully conversant with the following: contract documents including correspondence; understand and interpret drawings; research, establish and develop installation method statements and installation programmes; reporting; record keeping and project reviews.
Required Attributes and Experience


The ideal Project Manager will have recently worked in a siimlar role working on construction sites managing curtain walling or cladding installations or other relevant disciplines with at least 2 years as a Project Manager. Ideally you will be HND or Degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline with a CSCS Managers card and either a relevant First Aid certificate. Preferably you will be computer literate with programming and planning experience, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company's commitments.


Finally, the successful Project Manager will offer a high level of professionalism at all times in dealing with clients, people and in the presentation of themselves and their work. Bid Manager

£90000 - £95000 per annum

Bid Manager London & South East
Up to £95,000 plus package

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a strong Bid Manager to join a busy facades sub-contractor to source, manage and grow key accounts and new business in London.


This company is recognised as a leading contractor in the delivery of bespoke high end facades and glass projects. This will require someone with more than just a sales approach but a detailed understanding of the design and technical aspects of the work.


The role will be predominantly based from offices in Central London, with the expectation to set up and attend regular prospecting meetings across the Greater London area, attend site for pre-start meetings and site updates at various locations. With an already existing customer base, the ideal candidate will not only maintain strong relationships with key accounts but continue to grow the customer portfolio.


You will work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to develop new opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth.

UK Bid Manager Duties:

  • Managing tender processes through all bid stages from initial technical advice/budget price, through formal tenders, and on to post-tender negotiations & the handover of successful awards to the projects department.
  • Focus on optimising opportunities and reducing risks.
  • Reading construction drawings and BoQ's, working with Main Contractors to agree product detail, programme schedules and lead times.
  • Working closely with Sales Administrators to draw up order details for customer sign off.
  • Work with the Estimating Department to manage sales enquiries.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of all leads and sales via our bespoke CRM system.

UK Bid Manager Responsibilities:

  • Follow sales processes, templates, calculations, and rules, etc, for:
  • Technical advice, Budget pricing, Formal tenders, Post-tender negotiations, Pre-construction services agreement, Handover processed to projects department.
  • Attend meetings at the pre-tender, tender, and post-tender stages (including giving presentations, and presenting proposals).
  • Prepare costs and specifications, prepare the proposed project programme and outline methodology, prepare and distribute contract documents for review by the commercial / contracts department.
  • Organise the preparation of supporting tender information from design, engineering, procurement, estimating, contracts, etc., for tenders.
  • Develop and fine tune cost proposals & write tender sections, clarifications, and qualifications.
  • Manage pre-construction service agreement processes when & where applicable.
  • Prepare and deliver handover documentation to the Projects Department for successful bids.

Commercial Manager

Exteriors Sub-Contractor



This dynamic and highly successful Interiors Sub-Contractor is looking for a strong Commercial Manager to work in London.

This company has been established for just over 15 years and is one of the most dynamic contractors specialising in bespoke interior / external cladding sub-contract and other metalwork packages in London, with an annual turnover in excess of £35 million. They specialise in complex cladding and associated metal work and have an extensive portfolio of commercial and infrastructure projects with typical contracts up to £10 million in value.

The company is looking for an an experience Commercial Manager to work on multiple prestigious infrastructure projects in Central London. NEC contract experience would be a benefit. Reporting to the Ops Director, your main role will be to manager the commercial function. Duties will include estimating, developing and reviewing target costs, forecast and cash flow analysis. Duties will include assisting in all aspects of the financial control of the project including valuations, measurements and cost reports, attending meetings and ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken. In addition you will also co-ordinate and agree the production of final accounts with various parties in order to ensure that project approvals and completions can be obtained at the required times.

Required Attributes and Experience



The ideal Commercial Manager will have up to 10 years practical experience and will have gained some experience with a Sub-Contractor and preferably with experience of engaging on large scale infrastructure projects. Quantity Surveyors with other construction related experience will also be considered if they show the right drive and determination to succeed within a technically challenging environment.

You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation. Ideally you will also have an HND or equivalent qualification and might even still be studying day release towards a degree.
